The Hayward H-Series Heater represents the very latest in heating technology for swimming pools and spas.  Advanced features include an easy-to-read LED Control Panel that provides digital temperature readout and diagnostics for quick identification of components that might need service.  Also included on all electronic direct spark and induced draft hot surface heaters are a rust-resistant water path with polymer header assemblies, and a rapid head combustion chamber.  H-Series heaters are easy to install and maintain, thanks to its low profile, lightweight and CPVC plumbing capabilities. 

In addition, all Hayward H-Series heaters are all equipped with a Cupro Nickel Heat Exchanger for efficient heating and superior durability.  Cupro Nickel provides improved durability and longevity against the damaging effects of erosion that can occur under high-flow conditions, corrosion from occasional pool chemical imbalances, and is ideal for salt-water based pool systems.

For extra protection, the cupro nickel material has been coupled with an improved flow rate by-pass control.  Together, these added technological improvements ensure that your Hayward heater out performs and outlasts expectations. 

Selecting the Correct Size H-Series or LowNOx Heater
for your Swimming Pool

Determine your pool's surface area in square feet.  In the table below, locate the surface area that is equal to or just greater than the pool's surface area.  To the left of this number is the appropriate H-Series model that will fit the selected area. 

For indoor pool installations, divide the pool's surface area by 3.  Table is based on a 30 degree F temperature rise, 3 1/2 mile mph average wind velocity and elevation of up to 2,000 feet above sea level.

The Hayward H-Series Low NOx Induced Draft Heaters feature a patented Finn Plate™ heat exchanger with Cupro Nickel for constant heat dispersement, state-of-the-art pre-mix burners for environmentally friendly Low NOx outputs, hot surface Silicon Nitride ignition for instant and reliable fire up, and an advanced L.E.D. digital control panel for simple programming of pool temperatures. 

It also includes an induced draft system that constantly moves air through the combustion chamber at a precise flow rate.  As a result, all outside weather variables that can affect the heating performance, such as wind conditions, are eliminated - without having to install a high-wind stack.
